How Important is Drinking Water?

It's the most essential nutrient!

Since creation, the amount of water on the planet has not changed. Every living creature depends on water to survive. A person can live for weeks without food, but only a few days without water. Almost every day you can pick up a book or newspaper and read another fact stressing the importance of drinking water. Nutrition: Water is the most important nutrient as well as the largest substance in the body. Water delivers all the important nutrients throughout the body. Simply by adding 8-10 glasses of quality water each day, you can actually increase the amount of nutrition your body is receiving with out changing any of your eating habits.

Poisons and Toxins: Water helps to flush out poisons and toxins from the body, thus cleaning the body’s systems. Did you know that cellulite is merely a sign of poisons and toxins in or near the surface of the skin? Feel a little sluggish or blah at times could be another sign of poisons and toxins in your body.

Water also helps:

  • Reform blood platelets
  • Prevent over coagulation (blood clotting too fast)
  • Regulate body temperature
  • Filter blood (helping the kidneys)
  • Increase the bodies energy

Don't let your body run low of the actual amount of water it needs to function properly. Most people would never dream of not checking their oil in their car, or the coolant in the radiator.
